I have been asked to send you the following information about the 5th University Bridge Championships – more details will be on the University Bridge Site at www.unibridge.org in due course, and you can also contact Geert Magerman if you want additional information.
Entries must be made via the National University Sport Federation (Norsk Studentidrettsforbund).
Students have to fulfil FISU entry conditions (they must be aged between 18 and 28 and having the nationality of their Country).
The 5th FISU Championships will be held from 12th and 19th July 2010 in Kaohsiung, Chinese Taipei.
The host will be the National University Sun Yat-Sen (in Taiwan) . Each room in the dormitory will have two beds and provide pillow, blanket, mattress, soap, shampoo, toiletry, and waste basket. The website for the University is at http://www.nsysu.edu.tw
Kaohsiung International Airport (KHH) is the designated port of entry. Bus services will be provided to transport participants between airport and National Sun Yat-Sen University.
The following is a preliminary program for the championship:
- 10th & 11th July Arrivals
- 12th July CISCA & Technical meeting; Opening Ceremony
- 13th July Start of Competition
- 14th – 18th Competition
- 19th July Closing ceremony
- 20th July Departure
Information regarding costs etc will be made available as soon as possible. In the meantime, please inform your University players about this event.
